Learning Outcomes Addressed:
- Analyse workflow patterns that distinguish successful enterprise deployments from failed or experimental ones.
- Apply five strategic principles to design and scale agentic AI initiatives within their own organisational context.
Scenario
- As AI agents become increasingly capable, leadership is evolving beyond managing tasks to guiding people, making informed decisions, and creating an environment where humans and AI can work effectively together.
- Reflect on the ideas presented throughout the videos and consider how your own leadership approach may evolve in an AI-enabled workplace.
Task
Part A: Reflect on your leadership role
- Identify two leadership responsibilities that should always remain with people, regardless of advances in AI.
- Briefly explain why you believe these responsibilities require human judgement.
Part B: Consider the following situation
An AI agent recommends a course of action that differs from your team's recommendation.
- Describe how you would evaluate both recommendations before making a final decision.
- What information would you need to confidently trust the AI's recommendation?
Part C: Look ahead
Identify one leadership capability you would like to strengthen to lead effectively in an AI-enabled organisation and explain why you believe it will become increasingly important.
Estimated Duration: 30 minutes
Note: This is a practice activity and will not be graded or impact your programme completion. However, we strongly encourage participation for a more holistic learning experience.
