 Module Outcomes.pngLearning Outcomes Addressed

  • Describe the shift from AI as a search/answer tool to AI as a digital teammate in modern work environments.
  • Identify ways AI can augment creativity and ideation through generative tools.
  • Demonstrate basic interaction with AI tools to collaborate on simple work tasks or creative activities.

AI Song Challenge

This activity builds directly on the ideas explored in this module, where you examined the shift from AI as a passive search tool to AI as a more collaborative digital teammate. Earlier, you interacted with conversational AI systems that could support thinking, refinement, and ideation through dialogue and iteration. You also explored examples such as Suno AI and conversational voice experiences like Sesame AI, which demonstrate how AI is becoming increasingly creative, interactive, and human-like in the way people engage with technology.

In this activity, you will experience that shift firsthand by collaborating with AI to move from an initial idea to a finished creative output within minutes. The goal is not perfection, but understanding how interaction, iteration, and human judgment shape AI-assisted creativity.

Quick Guide: How to Use Suno

  1. Open Suno and sign in.
  2. Select “Create”.
  3. Paste your lyrics into the lyrics section.
  4. Generate the song.

Keep the process fast and experimental rather than overly polished.

The goal is to observe:

  • How ideas evolve through interaction with AI.
  • How quickly AI can accelerate creative workflows.
  • How human judgment still shapes clarity, direction, and final output.

Activity Challenge

Create a short AI-generated song that communicates one meaningful idea related to the future of AI, leadership, or work.

You will move from:

  • Concept ➡️ Prompting ➡️ Refinement ➡️ Finished output

Your Task

Using an AI music generation platform such as Suno, create a 1-minute song that communicates one clear idea to an engineering, technology, or business audience.

Suggested Workflow

Step 1 — Choose One Clear Theme

Select one theme you can explain in a single sentence.

Possible themes:

  • Human + AI collaboration
  • Generative AI to Agentic AI
  • Leadership in the AI era
  • Building responsible AI systems
  • Creativity with AI
  • The future of work
  • Humans and digital teammates
  • AI and decision-making

Reflection Prompt

If the idea cannot be explained clearly in one sentence, simplify it further.

Clarity matters more than complexity.

Step 2 — Generate Lyrics with AI

Use any conversational AI tool (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.). Generate approximately 120–150 words.

Suggested Guidelines

  • Tone: Optimistic, energetic, future-focused
  • Language: Simple and globally understandable
  • Structure:
    • Verse
    • Chorus
    • Verse
    • Outro

Focus on:

  • Message clarity
  • Emotional direction
  • Simplicity

Do not over-engineer the lyrics.

Step 3 — Define the Sound Style

Create a short music-generation prompt.

Example direction:

  • Genre: Future pop / upbeat electronic
  • Tempo: 110–130 BPM
  • Mood: Energetic and optimistic
  • Vocals: Clear and easy to understand

Step 4 — Generate the Song

Quick Guide: Accessing Suno

Log in to Suno AI

  1. Browse to https://suno.com Links to an external site..
  2. Select “Sign Up” or “Log In”.
  3. Continue using Google, Microsoft, Discord, or email.
  4. Once signed in, select “Create” to begin generating music.

Using Suno:

  • Paste your lyrics
  • Add the style prompt
  • Generate up to 3 versions
  • Select one final version

Do not spend excessive time polishing.

The purpose is rapid experimentation and creative collaboration with AI

Estimated Duration: 30 minutes
