Assignment Instructions
In this module, you explored how AI is evolving from a system that simply provides answers into something more collaborative — a digital teammate that can support thinking, creativity, decision-making, and workflow execution through ongoing interaction. This activity is designed to help you personally experience that shift by comparing traditional AI usage with more iterative, collaborative engagement. This assignment helps you experience the difference between using AI as a search tool versus using AI as a collaborative thinking partner.
Visit Sesame.com or any freely available AI tool such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or another conversational AI platform.
Complete the following activity:
Step 1 — Traditional Interaction
Ask the AI a simple factual question.
Example:
-
“What is Agentic AI?”
-
“Summarise the impact of AI on healthcare.”
Observe the response.
Step 2 — Collaborative Interaction
Now engage the AI in a back-and-forth interaction.
Examples:
-
Ask it to improve ideas
-
Refine a business email
-
Generate presentation themes
-
Suggest marketing concepts
-
Help structure a meeting agenda
-
Brainstorm business opportunities
Continue refining the interaction through multiple prompts.
Step 3 — Reflection
Write a short reflection addressing:
-
What differences did you notice between search-style interaction and collaborative interaction?
-
How did iteration improve the outputs?
-
What role did your own judgment play?
-
Where do you see opportunities for AI collaboration in your own work?
-
What limitations or concerns did you observe?
Suggested Lens
You should focus on:
-

-
