Usage of ChatGPT/AI Tools

Q.28: Can I use ChatGPT or another AI tool to do the assignments?

A.: While ChatGPT can be a helpful tool, it's important to note that its use should be supplementary rather than as a replacement for your own effort and critical thinking. If content is found plagiarised by any AI tool, including ChatGPT, your assignments will be marked down, and you will receive an intimation from the Grader.

To effectively utilise ChatGPT:

  1. Independent effort: Prioritise completing readings, reflecting, and attempting tasks independently before turning to ChatGPT. This ensures academic integrity and prevents plagiarism.
  2. Critical engagement: Evaluate ChatGPT's responses, cross-reference information, and challenge suggestions to deepen your understanding.
  3. Balance: While ChatGPT can aid learning, it's essential to engage with peers, course leaders, and other resources for a comprehensive learning experience.

Remember, this programme aims to equip you with skills for professional growth. While ChatGPT is useful, your progress relies on your commitment, effort, and critical thinking.
