Learning Objectives Addressed
Describe how multi-agent systems collaborate to complete complex tasks within enterprise workflows. Apply basic workflow orchestration tools to conceptualise simple agent-based processes. Translate common workplace inefficiencies into potential agentic workflow opportunities.
Experience how AI can turn a real work problem into a usable assistant in minutes and understand where leadership judgment is still needed.
Step 1: Choose a Real Work Problem
Think of one problem from your work that:
- Happens regularly
- Requires decisions, interpretation or information
- Causes delays, escalations or inconsistent outcomes
Avoid choosing:
- Vague ideas
- Innovation buzzwords
- "Nice-to-have" apps
Write your problem using this sentence:
We want to help [who] do [what] better.
Examples
- We want to help frontline supervisors interpret SOPs correctly.
- We want to help managers prepare fair performance conversations.
- We want to help leaders make sense of performance reports.
Your task: Write one problem statement.
Step 2: Define Your Assistant
Answer these three questions only.
Who will use it?
- Who is the user?
What should it improve?
- What should become easier, faster or clearer?
What goes in and what comes out?
- What will the user ask?
- What should the assistant provide?
Remember:
- Keep your answers simple.
- Do not list features.
- Do not use technical terms.
Your task: Write your answers to all three questions.
Step 3: Build Your Assistant in Lovable
- Open Lovable.
- Type one clear prompt describing your assistant.
Example prompts
"Build an internal assistant for managers to prepare performance conversations, summarize feedback and suggest next steps aligned to policy."
"Build a frontline assistant that answers SOP questions and suggests next actions based on context."
- Let Lovable generate the app.
- Try using it straight away.
- Do not spend time polishing or making multiple changes.
Your task: Build the first version of your AI work assistant.
Step 4: Test and Improve Once
Ask your assistant 2–3 realistic questions.
Then note:
- One thing that works well
- One thing that feels risky or incorrect
Update your prompt one time only and regenerate the assistant.
Stop after this first improvement.
Your task: Observe
- One thing that worked well
- One thing that needs improvement
- One change you made to your prompt
Estimated Duration: 30 minutes
Note: This is a practice activity and will not be graded or impact your programme completion. However, we strongly encourage participation for a more holistic learning experience.
